PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND ONLINE COURSE SITE

This site is the spot where CLC Network provides professional development and online course opportunities. You will see listed on this first page courses to which you have been given access.

You are given access to one or more courses based on your enrolling in or registering for a course, which includes courses for professional development offered to educators (teachers, consultants, psychologists, administrators, and parents) and courses for school-aged students. You should see only the course, or courses, for which you are registered. If you see other, unfamiliar, courses, please let me know (pstegink@clcnetwork.org).

Moodle is a Learning Management System used typically to provide academic courses. We are expanding the use of Moodle, using it to offer courses (to K - 12 students) as well as professional development experiences for adults that include course work as well as inservices and workshops, such as online book clubs. Although all of our offerings will be called "courses" in this online environment, please know that not all "courses" will be structured as traditional courses. So, when you see the word "course(s)" do not be thrown off. This might mean a traditional course or it might mean a learning experience of a different type.
